In March 2010 we went on an excursion with our design students to the Sarawak Press in Kuching. It was the printer for one of the biggest newspapers, the Sarawak Tribune, and also printed brochures, flyers, posters and other material for its clients. It was a great visit because staff really took time to explain all the machines to the students, and let us roam around the premises to look at the equipment and find out what it feels like to work with printing machines.
